Candidates can apply on campus or online and must pay an application fee. See their application page for the latest information. Alongside the application, candidates will need to include documents such as their Emirates ID, passport copy, high school transcript or equivalency letter plus others. Depending if the programme is taught in English or Arabic, an English or Arabic language score may be required.

International students can apply online and will also need to provide extra documentation and an application fee. Details for undergraduate and postgraduate applications are on their website. Abu Dhabi University is comprised of five colleges, including the Collegeof Arts, Education and Social Sciences, College of Business, College ofEngineering, College of Law and the College of Health Sciences, which deliverthe general education requirements for all undergraduate programs. Their campuses offer cutting-edgelearning and research facilities to empower students to achieve theirpotential. The world-class learning environment, supported by state-of-the-arteducational technology and modern facilities, houses 61 laboratories, 75classrooms, food and coffee shops, male and female dormitories, and staffhousing. The extensive sportfacilities include football pitches, basketball courts, tennis and volleyballcourts, and cricket fields.

A brand-new, purpose-built extension to the main building opened in 2017,which is home to the College of Engineering. An extensive engineeringlaboratory infrastructure, among the best in the UAE, spans more than an entirefloor.

ADU is licensed and accredited by the AE Commission for AcademicAccreditation – Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research andattained ISO 9001:2008 certification in January 2010, and the Sheikh KhalifaExcellence Award in 2011.

Al Ain campus

The 7,500m2 campus is equipped with all the facilities required to provide asuperior education experience including state‐of‐the art computer laboratories,a micro‐teaching laboratory dedicated to the teaching programmes, a LearningSupport Center, a library with electronic resources available via the libraryportal 24/7, fully equipped classrooms and audio and visual rooms, dedicatedgraduate programme classrooms and recreational facilities.

Dubai campus

The campus is the only university in the UAE equipped with MicrosoftSurface Hub ‐ a new category of collaboration device that combines Whiteboard,audio and visual conferencing, applications, projection, cross platformintegration and best‐in‐class hardware ‐ providing a truly engaging andinnovative education experience.

Student life

For Abu Dhabi University, students are at the heart of everything theydo. Counsellingservices are available to all ADU students. They also educate students onacademic and interpersonal issues, assess and provide arrangements for studentswho have additional requirements, and offer assistance in the case of personalemergencies.

There are male and female dorms offering privateoccupancy, private with shared bath and kitchen or double occupancy. Studentswill also have access to a range of recreational facilities, shopping centresand food shops. There is transportation for shopping trips, and other publictransportation facilities are also available and easy to use.
