AUscholarships

AjmanUniversity offers a range of scholarships to both domestic and internationalstudents, primarily based on academic achievement. For example, a 100%scholarship is offered to school toppers from more than 20 countries across the MiddleEast and Asia. From time to time, AU may also offer other general scholarshipsto students from certain countries if it feels they are underrepresented in theAU student body.

AjmanUniversity has a single integrated campus located in Al Jurf, Ajman. Seelocation here .

The state-of-the-art and award-winning campus isbuilt on the principles of sustainable living. The campus is designed tooptimize energy and water conservation, reduce and reuse of resources likepaper, and planting of trees. The sprawling 2.3 million square feet campus hassports facilities (football, basketball, track and field, swimming), gymnasium,bookshop, healthcare unit, restaurants, and mosque.

AU has separate student residences for female and male students, well-equipped with all the conveniences of life and are considered luxurious by many for the wide range of facilities they offer. The Mobile Dental Clinic also deserves a mention here, as it is a one-of-a-kindand unique initiative offering regular dental check-ups and oral health services to residents in Ajman since its launch in 2018.

Strongsupport system for students

AUhas an in-house Counselling Unit that cares for the mental and psychologicalwell-being of students. The Student Success Center at the University offerssupport to students through peer tutoring and faculty liaisons, while alsohelping those facing academic difficulties. The Technology Support andTransportation Units take care of the connectivity and mobility aspects for students. A comprehensiveHealthcare Unit not only focuses on preventive healthcare, but also includesqualified doctors who can address various healthcare issues and ailments ofstudents. All the facilities at Ajman University are geared to enhance thephysical, intellectual and mental health and development of students.

Ajman University’s Center for Inclusive Learning promotesthe integration of students of determination into the academic community byproviding an environment in which they can develop the skills and confidence toexcel academically, socially, and professionally. Students of determination benefitfrom a supportive setting at the facility, with state-of-the-art facilitiesdesigned to cater to their diverse needs, which also guarantees equal access toopportunities and resources.

AU’ssprawling campus, featuring large swimming pools, basketball andfootball courts and other professional sports facilities, have encouragedmany student athletes to participate in amateur and professional sports. Somehave also gone on to win prestigious awards in various sporting competitions.Our student clubs dedicated to multi-cultural activities are where artists,linguists, orators, painters and other more creatively inclined students findexpression.
