Step-by-StepGuide to Applying to MCBS as a Degree-Seeking Student

1. Review Admission Requirements

Make sure you review all MCBS admissionrequirements of specific study programs available, to see if you are eligible.If you want to apply for an bachelors’ program, you can check whether you meetthe minimumeligibility criteria under each degree program.

For graduateprograms you’ll need a recognized bachelor’s degree; typically aminimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). If your GPA is slightlylower, you may have to complete bridging courses.

2. 2. Prepare the ApplicationWindow / Deadlines

MCBS provides flexible options forapplying: you can apply online, in person, or by mail. There are specificdeadlines, especially for graduate programs and international studentadmissions, so make sure to check what the timeline is for the program you’reinterested in.

3. Understand Fees

MCBS offers the same tuition fees forboth local and international students. You can check the tuition fees undereach undergraduateprograms and graduateprograms .

Gather all necessary documentation, suchas:

· Official high schoolrecords or equivalent, plus transcripts from any prior colleges or universitiesif applicable.

· Valid passport,civil/residency ID (for international applicants) and recent passport-sizedphotos.

· Proof of Englishproficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or MCBS’s English placement test).

· Any program-specificdocumentation such as CV, letters of recommendation, etc., especially forgraduate programs.

Use one of the MCBS application methods:

· Online: Fill inthe online application form ontheir website, including your personal details, program preferences, and uploadall required documents.

· In Person or by email: ContactMCBS (via [email protected] )to request the application form if you prefer paper application, then send orsubmit it with the documents and application fee.

Once submitted,MCBS’s admissions committee will review your application. You will be informedof the decision by email (or by phone in some cases).

6. For InternationalStudents: Visa & Additional Requirements
If you are applying from outside Oman:

· MCBS will help in obtaininga student visa, but you must submit proof of financial guarantee and otherrequired documents.

· You’ll need to provide afinancial support certificate from your family or sponsor, passport copies,photographs, and sometimes a guardian commitment or responsibility letter.
